LDS says "Biden better reflects their values than trump" that sounds like a backdoor endorsement to me. It's possible Biden could take UTah and it's 6 electoral votes.

(16,685 posts)That same fantasy was floated in 2016. We are going to have to work extremely hard to hold the one congressional district there held by a Democrat. If it was districted fairly one of its 4 congressional districts could be pretty consistently Democratic but it's not.

(29,149 posts)The event was intended by the campaign to highlight several LDS members making the case for Biden. It certainly isn't any endorsement by the church hierarchy/organization. Still, LDS uneasiness about Trump is certainly going to help in Arizona. (Alas, I think Utah and Idaho are out of reach, though.)
