How about $10 million dollar fine and 2000 community service hours. This feels like justice just for the rich and famous

$250k for him is like most people losing $200 bucks in vegas. If what he did was really wrong, show him.

didn't he pay more to get his kids into USC ??

Just like the fines, in the rare cases they're imposed, on corporations. They always end up being just a small part of the cost of doing business. No deterrent at all.

Do we know what happened, or is happening, to the people who actually took the bribes? The school offices, and so forth?
