Romney and Ryan are being "collectivist" and "dependent" by asking for campaign donations.

As Romney wants us all to know, he's a self-made man. A very wealthy self-made man. So wealthy, in fact, that he has enough money to fund his campaign himself.

So why, then, is this man of "personal responsibility" begging the unwashed masses for money to run his campaign? Why is he not footing the bill either himself or with personal loans obtained at a market-determined interest rate?

Doesn't he want to build this enterprise himself? Is he not a man of principle?
