stickers at least 5:1 - maybe as much as 10:1. Only 47 days from the election and despite driving around/through some really affluent areas that I know are quite red, just not that many Romney stickers or signs showing up.
What are others seeing in terms of stickers around where you live?

(13,923 posts)I've been on a road trip since August 10... I can report on a few states..
Wisconsin: a few Obama, no romney
Michigan smattering of Obama, one Romney
Minnesota: a few Obama. A couple antiobama. No Romney
Quebec: succession yeah! Anglais no!
Prince Edward island: one Floridian with Romney and one ny for Obama
Maine: several Romney, about half from Florida. More Ron Paul. About equal number of Obama
Massachusetts: many Obama, lots of warren! About 2/3 as many brown, so still lots. Most who are supporting state and local reps have somehow forgotten their Romney signs and stockers. Very few
Connecticut: not much of either. If I hadn't watched local tv, wouldn't even know there were politics ahappnin.
New york... Didn't see a lot of either. Mostly saw taxicabs today.

(531 posts)The sign is flanked by Obama signs by neighbors on both sides, which is fairly surprising since I live in a pretty red part of the state.
The bumper sticker I saw wasn't even on a car, it was sitting on my dad's kitchen table. A few years ago, my dad said he actually kinda liked Obama, but then he was poisoned by the non-stop hatefest that is Fox and Rush (mostly Rush). Sad, really, that an intelligent bloke like my dad can be swayed so easily by hate tv/radio.

(6,199 posts)On the other side, a lot of anti-Obama stickers. I've only seen one that actually supported Romney.

(5,364 posts)I previously commented a few days ago on how I've not yet seen any Romney decals on cars yet. I was on my way to work this afternoon and I was passed by a car with a Romney decal/sticker: My first thought was, "I'll be damned, the first one!" until I looked closer and it was actually an "Rmoney" decal. Gave me an uplifting moment.

(28,762 posts)mostly in Indiana and Michigan. Like you, I haven't seen a Romney bumper sticker nor any yard signs, not one! I do see a lot of pro Obama stickers and signs, but mostly up in Michigan.
I don't think our republicans are too happy with their candidate!

(683 posts)I traveled to NC around election time, and was crossing an intersection in a rural area and passed in front of a huge, older model Ford F350, pipes and all. However it had a plywood sign mounted across the ENTIRE from bumper painted as an Obama 2008 bumper sticker! It was HUGH!!!!
I stuck my head out the window and gave the guy a big thumbs up and he honked and returned it. I did not expect that in rural NC.
