Sasha makes a good point: Trump thought he'd be running against Sanders or Warren

All of his talking points and campaign rhetoric seem to be geared toward an opponent much more like Sanders or Warren. He seems to have no idea how to run against Biden. And, funny thing, it also seems that no one on his campaign team has been able to move him off of this spot.

He would have taken bernie apart like the presents at his birthday party. But joe isn't that easy to attack in that way.

We knew that. Which is why we wanted joe (even though I am much closer to warren politically). Bernie would have been a disaster.

It's much better that he is afraid of his opponent than able to laugh at them and make outrageous but vaguely on-point attacks.

It's driving him and his campaign angry. It's like they are shadow boxing. They just can't land a punch the media will latch onto. The questions keep coming back to trump, the pandemic response, the economy response, his lack of response to russia... Never about biden. Even fox can't get a handle on its attacks. It is feebly trying to paint joe as senile, but every time joe speaks or is interviewed that falls away.

Boo-Hoo. Keep up the god talk, and the gun talk, and the mail in vote talk... nobody is listening - not even your base.

They only had one game plan - to run against the socialist!!11 Trying to tag Biden with that label is bound to fail.

But, as usual in Trumpworld, they are incapable of adapting or strategizing.

So cannot effectively campaign!

Reminds me of a scene in "Crazy People" where Dudley Moore us an ad exec who realizes he is lying for a living & check into a psych resort-type hospital.

In his absence, the boss is trying to get his remaining staff to say 1 "true" thing about the product.

Silence until... lol no spoiler. One of my fav movies. 😊

should be happy that Sanders & Warren were both in the race and among the top contenders - because they were farther left than Biden, it makes him look more moderate in comparison, thus deflecting Team Trump's socialist attacks.

themselves as democrats. PLUS the younger members, and those coming of age, lean more toward Warren and Sanders beliefs.

Warren herself is a former republican. It was through her studies in finance and law that moved her to the democratic party, and she's got a better handle on the economy than pretty much anyone in the country.

On September 17, 2010, President Obama announced the appointment of Warren as Assistant to the President and Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to set up the new agency.

Warren was appointed BY OBAMA to set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. What is so extreme leftist about that????

He was so scared of Joe he risked impeachment to try and stop him. The GOP were salivating at the thought of Sanders. He would have won big and gotten some house seats too.

Thank goodness!
