Vice President Mike Pence visits 4th grade classroom in North Carolina
............................
The school, a Thales Academy in Wake Forest, said it was notified on Monday that the student became infected after having contact with an infected family member.
The student was asymptomatic and was last at school on Friday. Teachers who were exposed also will be quarantined.
.................................
Students had their temperatures taken and completed a medical questionnaire after they were dropped off, according to WTVD. Staff and faculty also reminded students to wear masks.
Because the school network is private, it doesn't have to adhere to North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper's school reopening guidelines.
Pence and DeVos visited a campus in Apex, not Wake Forest.

Good thing they don't have to follow "government" rules that just might keep them safe (not saying that THOSE rules would work either, based on the history of BunkerBoy's performance record!).
How can ANYBODY doubt who really hates "America" ("America" - you know, those "other ones" that don't help make you rich??)

(7,968 posts)why can't we pause and be careful here? Listen to the science and stay virtual for the first 2 months of the year to see if we can beat down the curve?
Instead, we're moving headlong into a catastrophe. Schools will reopen and then shutdown because they will have infections. It is that simple.
I'm a teacher and my school is opening virtual and then reassessing at the end of September. That is a logical response.
