I still don't know what they are thinking with the Marlins. They just cancelled their entire week of games. Do they intend to make up those games at some unspecified later date in an already shortened season?

I love baseball with a deep passion. No better sport than it.

If baseball can't pull it off, I don't see how football can do it.

Three weeks and the students start returning to campus. NCAA football also seems like a pipe dream.

8. The MLB Season Is Almost Over.

It will not be completed. NFL is next to cancel. NHL, too. There is no way professional sports are going to continue until there is a vaccine that works.

Same thing for college sports. Everything will have to go on hold.

MLS and NBA, too. They're basically playing in a big quarantine. They all went in testing negative, and they're remaining that way, with a couple of NBA exceptions. So far, so good. Knock on wood. Not sure about those two, but the NHL has hefty fines for anyone who violates the "bubble" rules. They have daily testing, and I am assuming that testing in Canada is a lot more reliable than it is in the US. My only complaint is that they're not being made to wear full face shields during play, but if the bubble remains intact, it probably won't matter, anyway.
