Hey, Republican Voters ...

Do you ever wonder why your “pResident” and your party reps keep coming up with totally ridiculous statements that are not only contrary to fact, but contrary to common sense?

Do you wonder why they insist it’s safe for your children return to school in a pandemic, and push the idea that if you refuse to risk your life by going back to work, it’s because you’re lazy?

Do you wonder why your “pResident” diminishes the expertise of a world-renowned scientist like Fauci, while promoting a ‘doctor’ who says sexually-transmitted diseases are due to people dreaming about intercourse with demons?

One might surmise that it’s because they think you’re stupid.

But that’s not it. The truth is that they know you’re stupid – because if you weren’t an ignorant dumbass, you would never have voted for them in the first place.

Republican voters are easy pickings. Easily scared, easily infuriated and easily duped into believing whatever narrative the republican politicians and pundits wish to benefit from.

In other words (warning: crudeness alert!), if President Nazivomit at one of his doofus rallies held up a rock and said that geology is a lie and that the rock is really a vagina, immediately at least half of the males in the audience would rush the stage, drop their pants and try to fuck it.

People this willfully dumb, gullible and devoid of any semblance of critical thinking skills are the real danger to this country. They are the ones that allow republicans to ascend to, and remain in, powerful governmental positions for their own nefarious reasons unquestioned and without any accountability. Think Louie Gohmert, Mitch McConnell, Jim Jordan, John Cornyn, Ron DeSantis, Brian Kemp, et al. They have nothing to offer regarding a more decent society nor do they care. The time has come to send a crystal clear message this November by making sure that every registered Democrat makes every effort to vote these un-American racist, bigoted frauds out! It needs to be a massive onslaught of record breaking, epic proportions because republicans will lie, cheat and steal in every imaginable way to prevent any Democratic victory. Our lives literally depend on it.

... and I'll say it again.

The most brilliant strategy the GOP ever came up with is building their 'base' from the most easily-manipulated groups, i.e. the Evangelicals/Christian right, the low-info, the low-IQ - IOW, the sheep most likely to be easily led to the slaughterhouse under the careful guidance of a Judas Goat.

It takes a lot for a politician to convince an intelligent, well-informed citizen that he/she is deserving of their vote - because that citizen is going to fact-check everything they say, and investigate their past record until they run out of Google searches.

A Republican politician need only proclaim himself a God-fearing Christian who is against abortion and for the Second amendment.

He knows the 'base' will rally to those word - because they're the only words they need to hear.

Republicans give just enough lip service to the gullible to get elected then spend their time in office enriching themselves and their benefactors. What a way to build a more livable society, eh?

I'd also like to thank you for all your informative posts here. They're always a great read and enlightening.
