GOP suing Nancy to FORCE DEMS to vote in same room to INFECT EACH OTHER

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/26/us/politics/house-lawsuit-proxy-voting-coronavirus.html

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, along with 20 other Republicans and four constituents, challenged the constitutionality of proxy voting in the chamber on Tuesday with a lawsuit aimed at Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The plaintiffs claim that the transition to proxy voting — spurred by the coronavirus pandemic — dilutes members’ votes, and by extension, their constituents’ collective representation.

He wants the Dems to infect and KILL each other.

When will enough people become ENRAGED and do something? I dont know either, I am afraid to go out and do almost anything.

edit

I guess I should have included the point isnt the GOP will get their way but that they would DO THIS in the first place to try and have dems INFECT EACH OTHER to get SICK!

Dont you see how even WE are becoming desensitized to their HORRIBLE MURDEROUS BEHAVIOR?

Courts will not interfere in such purely political disputes.

This is a frivolous “messaging” lawsuit, they know it has no chance of success, and will be immediately dismissed. I’m just not sure why they think such a “message” would help them with voters.

except to say that "Congress shall make their own rules."

I don't see how a lawsuit would do much.

It's the equivalent of throwing sand into the face of an opponent in a physical fight.

I believe the federals courts will decline the Republicans' invitation to order the affairs of the House of Representatives. You want to run the meetings, boys? Win a majority of seats.

Snowflakes, always running off to the courts hoping for an activist judge to do for them what they can't or won't do for themselves. Grow up, Kevin.

or by phone, by mail, by video conference, by electronic voting, by email, whatever.

do republicans imagine that if congress is suddenly leveled that no laws can pass until it is rebuilt?

I don't mind this. Modernizing congresses processes, especially around procedures that assume in-person casting of votes, have significant power issues.

It's worth litigation, I suspect.
