How often do you wonder if we'll make it to January?

I just saw a short clip of Trump's helicopter conference where he reiterates his support of Dr. Demon Sweat.

What the fuck is it going to take?

What is it going to take for the Repubs to get him out of there?

He's clearly insane. They see it too. They're not dumb (most of them).

So unsettling. A crazy mass murderer with the nuclear codes.

I'm seriously half expecting a nuke launch before election day.

And even more so as time goes on. I was going to drop our land line phone - it's up to almost $100 per month - but decided to keep it until we get past Joe's inauguration. Just in case someone unfriendly takes out our infrastructure.

We had a zoom call with our two adult daughters and somewhat jokingly discussed what country we could move to if Ass Face "wins" in November.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theory lunatic, but I'm considering contingencies that have never crossed my mind before.

How do I get to my children if the whole thing goes kablooey?

I am less than 100% certain that order will be executed, although that is still probably 99% likely. The people executing such orders are trained to follow them as if the fate of the nation were in the balance and so they take the responsibility very seriously...the jackass demented clown in charge though? He just wants to take the big toys off of the "do-no-touch" shelf and show everyone he was the only one to do so anyway.

Trump is a loser in all aspects of life, and his personality disorder has become a crippling albatross around his neck in these last days of his public relevance. He can't stand it and this makes a nuclear strike against North Korea or Iran highly likely from him.

My greatest fear when he was installed by the Electoral College was the end of his term and his desire to literally go out with a bang...

I just hope the military officers who receive the orders decide to put humanity over following the chain of command for once...I am not brimming with confidence on that count.

actually being obeyed.

I go back and forth...I'd like to think someone on The Joint Chiefs of Staff would make Trump stand down, but I really have no idea.

I view us in the phase of nearing the worst part of the cold (where you feel the worst, fever spikes, etc.). This fever is going to break and, due to all of our hard work, diligence and voting, we are going to elect competent national leaders this fall, starting at the top with Joe and his ticket.

It sux and we're trudging through the mud now, but - by golly - keep moving and dont wallow too long in the muck. We will get there!!

unfortunately Dr. Demon Sweat remains within the mainstream of the new Republican party.

it's not just North America, our president and the party supporting him present a serious threat to the entire biosphere of this planet.

If a rabid dog foaming at the mouth was threatening a house full of people, wouldn’t somebody figure out a way to get him out? Or would they say, let’s wait until next year when animal control is due to show up?
