(5,272 posts)In my county alone the community drive thru testing which had been 850 per week was halted last week because the lab could not handle the volume plus lack of local staffing and supplies so the only testing right now is at doctors' offices and hospital. Prior to last week, the cars at the 3 community drive in sites were backed up and being turned away when the sites ran out of tests.

(42,770 posts)Can't effectively hold Trump's feet to the fire when questioning him. I know he turns their mics down. But they are inadvertently allowing him to riff.
That said he got rid of the hardest hitting questioners. People who know how to ask a question that makes it harder to riff on. "Why can't you get a test in North Carolina?". "throwing out big numbers of tests performed means nothing. It's do we have testing where it is needed?"

There was a backlog of cases reported from out of state, covering May-early July that got reported on Friday. If the algorithm failed to account for the anomaly it looks like cases are exploding in CT. It's basically the same.
