(5,659 posts)Why the quote, if it was a mistake? They release that they will announce next week the pick (meaning they already made the choice, imo) and then politico "mistakenly" releases a press release early with a "quote from Joe", it just seems a little odd, to say the least.
Either way, all the current runners are awesome and I am behind it 100%.

It may not be Harris, but I think the answer is already known at this point if he's announcing it next week. It's just either waiting for the right moment (next week) or doing final checks to make sure nothing comes out that wasn't vetted.
Thats awesome. Guess we will find out on the 1st.

(302 posts)the media has these type of stories written in advance so they can quickly fill in the name/date/time/cause of death/quote from someone when it happens and publish quickly.
