They are all on edge waiting for storm updates.
Lots of folks are still displaced from the earthquakes, and everything else the last few years, not to mention COVID. Hoping this doesnt add to the pain.

This suggests that further out, mid-day Saturday, it could be in the Bahamas, and then the whole SE starts sweating more.
A few models suggest it may cross FL into the Gulf, but several brush FL and a half-dozen head for the Carolinas.
I hope it just gives the Outer Banks a scare, but...
