UPDATE: Board member resigns after image comparing mask mandate to Holocaust posted on Wabasha County GOP Facebook page
A board member has resigned after a image comparing Minnesota's mask mandate to the Holocaust was posted on the Wabasha County GOP's Facebook page Monday.
The Republican Party of Wabasha County had said the image was maliciously posted.
Wabasha County Republican BPOU Chairwoman Beverly Snow said no one from the party posted the image which shows a Nazi officer telling a prisoner of war to wear the Star of David during the Holocaust and comparing that to the COVID-19 mask requirement imposed by Gov. Tim Walz.
The post was taken down by late Monday. It received a number of negative comments and drew responses from Minnesota GOP chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan and Jewish Community Relations Council.

Turns out it wasn't a hack but was posted by a GOP board member who has resigned.
I believe they were still accurate however when they said the image was maliciously posted.

Was not able to recall the board member's name while writing the statement admitting it was posted on purpose.

Nobody posted this image on their party's facebook page, it just somehow spontaneously generated itself and of all the places on the internet it could have landed, it showed up on the facebook page of the Republican Party of Wabasha County! Don't you just hate when that happens? Now somebody's going to have to resign, even though nobody did nothin' wrong, and the poor put-upon dears will have to spend time explaining how they aren't prejudiced or anti-Semitic at all, and if you doubt that, then YOU'RE the REAL bigot!
