Please share/read this thread about Sandman "winning" vs WAPO

very well written and debunks the right wing myth about Sandman winning his lawsuits. He didn’t win. He settle for nothing to save face. Please share if you see anyone pushing this bullshit about him beating the “fake news media”.

This is interesting, but it shows the problems with settling cases for that "nuisance value." Squinch Jul 2020 #2

The little creep likely did get some money, and that is just wrong.

The writer's educated guess is that Sandman got about $50,000 because it would have cost WAPO $200,000 to play it out to the end and have Sandman's nuisance claims tossed entirely. $50,000 is enough incentive for others to pursue the same kind of nuisance settlement.

If the WAPO paid the $200,000, dragged the kid through the mud he deserved and did it publicly, i imagine they would have prevented at least 3 other people from bringing nuisance suits against them. And the message to the public would not have been that the little shit won.
