Trump stormtroopers in Portland some of them are veterans

This morning my wife asked me she said she saw a patch on the right shoulder of one of the feds in Portland patch a unit patch on right shoulder is a combat patch. She said it was same patch her dad wore as medic in Vietnam. And she said the flag above the patch was stars stripes left to right in this it is tradition wearing it seen like this is that your unit is involved in a campaign. So I showed her pics of 9th infantry and then the air cav the units her father served with . And it was air Calvary patch.

So my point in this ramble as I drink my fifth cup of coffee. Is that these storm troops are following unlawful orders put out by trumpig. What is straightforward in my mind is posse comitatus. These individuals are acting as a army they’re in camouflage and armed with weapons. And in the case of veterans amongst them they should understand that they’re violating the oath they took to serve and they have violated their oath . That these are immoral orders being handed down. I find it disgusting that veterans who served is they’re so ignorant evil and weak of mind to carry out trumps orders. They may find themselves serving two years in fed prison for violating posse comitatus. I doubt that would happen as a vet though I would like to see these fuckers be prosecuted and do time because their traitors.

his company in the Battle of the Bulge. A guy came up and said "Captan my favorite weapon was the Browning Auto rifle, how about you?' After the guy walked away, dad turned to me and said he was a fucking cook.
I still laugh about it.

Cooks and Clerks are great too. Unless they are Vets for Trump.
It's just that dad's comment still has me laughing 25 years later.

ALL the draft board was made up of cooks and clerks. They were in a huge hurry to get as many 18 year old kids in the Nam as possible.

Those with conservative politics typically are concentrated in combat units and with combat mos's. You had a much higher chance to find a moderate or dem aming support troops in my experience. Plus, if they are actually mercs, private security contractors typically only hire those with combat experience. Depending on where they send you, anything else is a liability and they are not going to waste the money on personnel who can't deal with the stress of combat.

LOL

The most extreme reich-wing imbeciles I've encountered are Air Force and Navy vets who never fired a bullet in combat.

It's their commanders who deserve court martial, and the higher-ups who ordered the whole scheme in the first place. Someone HAD to have known that sending these units into what was essentially a combat situation against American civilians was not exactly legal under U.S. law. Only a mass desertion in the field could have succeeded, and I'm sure the guys that were sent were more the types to relish the thought of performing some mayhem on unarmed "libbruls."

That is most likely what she saw. Federal LEOs don't wear military patches. And the flag is commonly worn on the right arm and has nothing to do with military campaigns.

I am a 20 year vet. My dad spent 23 years in army. My brother 6.

Don't know when it was added to the regs but all flags face stars forward. It's supposed to look as if your carrying the flag as you were charging into battle. It going the other way looks like retreat.

Unless thug is active duty or in the reserves, active or inactive, he's a civilian. Military regs, laws, etc don't apply to him. He well may be a veteran and should be ashamed of himself. However, as with any other group, there's good ones and bad ones.

Those patches are easily available; they're sold all over the web. Further, it's not illegal to wear them, tacky, but not illegal. Further, the uniform regs detailing proper placement of patches and all the bling are also available on the web.

So unless thug has a DD Form 2, he's practicing 'Stolen Valor'.

Four of my five 214s show I was honorably discharged. Only the last one gives my current status - retired reserve. IOW, one 214 may not have the whole story.
