Second Best Case: Democratic Majorities in the House and the Senate even if Trump

is re-elected through his expected tricks and help from the Kremlin.

1. Trump can't use Congress to pass any of his legislation.
2. Even if Trump uses Executive Orders, if the democratic Senate removes the filibuster and relies on majority (democratic) vote, the EO's can be "corrected."
3. Democratic Senate means that Trump can no longer select federal judges and USSC justices as he wishes.

The only downside would be none of the democratic agenda would likely be enacted. Even with democratic majorities, Trump would rubberstamp vetoes and there wouldn't be enough Democrats to override those vetoes.

You may have a point. Even if both Houses passed legislation that nullified an EO, no_hypocrisy Jul 2020 #2

How does getting rid of the filibuster allow the Senate to undo EO’s?

Not that I think that getting rid of the filibuster is a good idea or even possible.

Point Taken.
