been identified with capitalization as though it is a proper noun? Did your wife address her as "Secretary" at work?

She was with me for 22 years so I guess we got along okay.

However, I always addressed the secretaries that I worked with by their preferred proper names whether it be Tracy, Karen, Ms. Smith, or Mrs. Johnson.
