... The CPDs Office of News Affairs said Monday that the internal affairs investigation into Catanzara is ongoing.
Earlier in his career, Catanzara was recommended for firing in 2012 because he was working as a security guard at an Old Town restaurant while on medical leave from the CPD, a claim he disputed. He eventually was suspended for 20 days.

When we marched with BLM in Mt. Greenwood, a Chicago neighborhood filled with police families, the racist taunts and threats were open and disgusting.
