9. 'Shame on you': Florida governor heckled during coronavirus briefing in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. —

Protesters interrupted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis during a news conference on Monday in Orlando.

The protesters chanted “shame on you,” as the governor delivered remarks about coronavirus in Florida while at OneBlood in Orlando.

The demonstrators accused DeSantis of lying about COVID-19 and said he mishandled the pandemic.

"Shame on you Ron DeSantis" one of the protesters shouted. "You're lying to the public."

After the protesters were escorted out of the briefing, they continued chanting and started banging on the glass outside as the governor continued speaking.
