If nothing else, the whole way he fails to absorb intelligence briefings is a scandal you only hear about in books but should be on the nightly news. It isn't just that he doesn't read the daily briefing book, he gets mad when they bring him "too many words!"

The media is accepting the impasse as if it's a "he said she said" situation, but there are threads to follow. Was it in the daily briefing book? If it is a hoax, how can it be a classified national security matter? Show us what's in the book. Why is there a delay between its appearance in the daily briefing book and when Trump "consumed the intelligence verbally?" Why didn't he say something when he finally was briefed, and more importantly, why hasn't he said anything since it became public?

As strange as it might be. Even Covid seems like it's been trying to find its way off the front pages. Even while more people began to die in places outside the crowded cities. Trump and his bums do something so often that we've begun to put their misdeeds on a shelf to be sorted and processed later. I often have discussions with people where one of us will mention some atrocious thing done by trump and the other person will be stunned they forgot whatever that particular piece of fuckery was. As a nation, we are shell shocked from this daily barrage of shit and have to prioritize the awfulness to cope.

you literally create a new crisis EVERY DAY so there is never any time for an actual deliberative or investigative process to take place to hold you responsible.

in a normal world, if this bounty thing had happened, it would be front page news every day, congressional hearings would be planned.... it would be in the new for weeks and months........

it sort of like saying if a category 5 hurricane comes ashore every day of the week by saturday you wold be wondering what happened with the one on monday..........
