Trump's Ex-Partner Sapir Claims Rosen Extracted Millions
(Bloomberg) -- A New York real estate family that once did business with President Donald Trump is now trading fresh allegations of theft and betrayal, and has filed a lawsuit that could dredge up more details about Trumps onetime partners in an ill-fated Manhattan hotel project.
Alex Sapir, whose company teamed with Trump more than a decade ago, on Friday sued real estate executive Rotem Rosen, who is Sapirs brother-in-law and former business partner. Sapir alleges that Rosen extracted tens of millions from his real estate company after recruiting additional members of his own family into the operation, according to the suit filed in New York Supreme Court.
"As the complaint alleges, for over a decade, Rotem Rosen rode the Sapir Organizations coattails, taking advantage of the Sapirs trust and generosity to siphon tens of millions of dollars, misappropriate proprietary information, and violate the contractual terms of his ouster from the Sapir family and its business, Sapirs lawyers at Oved & Oved LLP said in an emailed statem
