A public meeting about a school mask policy in Utah was postponed moments after it began because dozens of people not wearing masks filled the room.

Utah County Commissioner Tanner Ainge said Wednesday the gathering in Provo, Utah violated current health recommendations and moved to suspend the meeting until a later date. His motion to adjourn was approved with a 2-to-1 vote, with the dissent coming from a commissioner who had organized the meeting.

"This is the exact opposite of what we need to be doing," Ainge said at the meeting. "We are supposed to be physically distancing, wearing masks."

The audience responded with a loud chorus of boos.

Utah Gov. Gary Herbert announced last week that students, teachers and faculty in public K-12 schools must wear masks in buildings and on buses, according to the Provo Daily Herald. Utah County Commissioner Bill Lee had proposed writing a letter to the county’s health director, directing him to ask state officials for a “compassionate exemption” from the mandate, but the vote on the proposal was postponed.

This extends to the students as well. Imagine the gamut, from the younger ones who naturally don't have the discipline to wear masks all day every day, to high schoolers dealing with the political polarization of mask wearing even if they do have that discipline. Oof.

In fact, go ahead and insert any minority killed by the police, or a vigilante into this. Tamir Rice, George Floyd, Eric Gardner... their killers found refuge on Hate Radio.

Want to hear women called whores and prostitutes for wanting contraceptive coverage on their employee health insurance? Hate Radio is the place for you.

You want to learn why our social discord has sunk so low that armed dipshits demand sacrificial lives for a fucking haircut? Hate Radio calls them fucking heroes and patriots.

Cruelty? Mocking the Disabled? Putting the "humor" in people dying from AIDS? Justifying the murder of 10 year old boys playing with a toy gun? You can find all this and more on what used to be 1500 radio stations in every nook and cranny of this fucking country.

And yet, over 80 fucking universities still broadcast their sports on these stations.

The fucking local Hate Radio station hosts and program directors don't have to pass through a gauntlet of protesters to get to their offices and studios.

They just fucking show up, spew their hate, hit "plug and play" for the hours of syndicated hate, and then go out and enjoy the very cities and towns they've smeared with shit.

They should "metaphorically" be burned to the fucking ground.
