We no longer wear masks when we walk outside. Too hot and no one is on the trails. But earlier a woman was walking toward me chatting on her ear growth attachment. And we know that talking throw more droplets into the air. So as she approached me, I stopped, turned my back to her until she passed. I doubt that she even noticed.

(2,220 posts)People without masks, on their phones or earbuds, paying no attention to their surroundings, or macho man joggers who just dont care. If I go the opposite way, into a neighborhood, everyone pays attention to distancing.

(9,953 posts)I do that with everyone that walks by without a mask. I do not do it so they will notice, I do not care if they notice. I do it so project droplets do not get my face.
Because the trail was so busy, I have not been back.
