Anyone with a connection to the parade might want to drop a line of encouragement to the folks in charge.

Both the Big Ten and PAC 12 are only going to play conference games. No non conference games. Bowl games tend to be in high outbreak states.

We will be lucky if we see complete conference schedules and a championship game.

It means we're not living in some right-wing fantasy, and instead are accepting science and reality.

There will be more parades.

In fact I cannot imagine a scarier time than the period between Biden being elected and his inauguration.

And tRump knows he doesn't have control over everything. He can't order things to look normal to win the election.

Like wildfire. We are all crying 😢 Lived in Pasadena for 10 years. Everyone would come out and go to parade. Is very strong in our house. Considering buying flowers and holding a Biden parade down our street.

the Goodyear Blimp visible at the end of the valley and many neighbors also out and enjoying starting a new year at home. My pruning was always a gentle cut-back and thinning of leafy shrub roses so rebloom could begin as soon as possible, but meant dozens and dozens of flowers went to the compost pile.

It's sad that we'll skip a Rose Parade, but 2021 will have other, much bigger doings. Meanwhile the roses will still bloom all year round there and people around the nation will still celebrate 2021 puttering around home. Next next year for the parade.
