AS IF BLACK LIVES MATTER.
Surrender your badge and get a job protecting Black lives, not erasing them.

(16,089 posts)if they can have two vehicles (or more) at each and every stop.
And WTF? The guy was literally walking down the street. There was no reason to stop him. None.

(47,399 posts)these days, an excess of police, totally out of proportion to any crime. Why did four cops show up for a counterfeit $20 in George Floyd's case? Five showed up for Eric Garner and two of them were plain clothes, like it was a major drug bust. So many of the video clips I've seen show four or more cops in almost every incident, as if there are so many cops, they have nothing to do. Apparently they're just waiting for something that looks like a crime and then they converge like a damn swat team. As you said, this time the guy was just walking down the street.
Either we need less police or maybe find something more constructive for them to do like community outreach.

Good on her for being in the right place, at the right time and with the courage to involve herself. I think the young man had a real life angel watching his back.
