There are four factors that led to over 100,000 Americans needlessly dying

1 Trump ignored the threat

Trump sent out 1,795 tweets in the months of January and February and not a single one of them was to warn Americans about the pandemic even after he was briefed on how widespread and deadly it was predicted to be, but he did manage to send out a few hundred Tweets to gossip about what he saw on TV during those months.

2 Trump intentionally manufactured drama inundating our airports with infected travelers

When he did finally begin tweeting about the COVID-19 pandemic he used it to manufacture drama and chaos at airports causing our international airports to flood unscreened infected passengers into our nation's cities resulting death trolls three times higher than the next closest nation.

3 Trump tried to force our country to return back to normal with no regard for reality

Trump Encourages Mask-less Protests Against Governors Who Have Imposed Virus Restrictions

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/17/us/politics/trump-coronavirus-governors.html

It is factually undeniable that Trump is a greater threat to American lives that Al Qaeda or ISIS.

4 Trump went out of his way to make wearing live saving masks political

If Trump didn't start his War on Masks this pandemic would have been contained in the Untied States already, but he just couldn't help himself ... Full On Dоuchebag is his only mode of operation.

Too many people wanted to profit off this disaster. Five months in, people still can't get tested and medical professionals can't get PPE.

FEMA is also AWOL.

He put Jared in charge of procuring and distributing medical supplies which became a cluster f**k, with states competing against the federal government for supplies. He should have put Russell Honore in charge or someone similar.
The WHO offered us test kits which we refused and we instead sent out contaminated kits that cost us 6 weeks of testing. Still today because we rely on numerous private sector labs test results aren't coming back for 7 to 8 days which makes contact tracing impossible.

24. 7. coordination of misinformation and denial with RW media
Tue Jul 14, 2020, 10:18 AM
Jul 2020

to coordinate rw media all you have to do is get it to limbaugh and limbaugh is not only a mentor and tool of trump's, he is a tool of putin. what limbaugh spends his immensely valuable time on is always a good indication of what putin/trump want/are doing. limbaugh previews and reinforcecs anything trump does/says on important topics

limbaugh called covid a hoax from the beginning, saying it was an excuse for the left to force big govt solutions - just like global warming. then he pivoted to the death rates were exaggerated, masts are for sissies, we have to reopen, etc. he would not have called it a hoax if the trump admin didn't want him to.

the blaming of it on immigrants is what they were blaming 2014 ebola on - and they turned 9 senate seats by hyping it in oct, ending as soon as the elections were over in november. they were beginning to blame 2019 ebola on immigrants, talking about congolese joining the 'caravans' 'attacking' the border. but they got ebola controlled and along came COVID

american media/dem investigators must begin to investigate as if trump delayed action on covid thinking they could use it like ebola 2014 and trump is still on that plan. he is stupid and single minded enough to think he can still make it work.

the pandemic response team in China would not have been fired and the CDC liaison in Beijing would still be there. The virus MAYBE could have been mostly contained in China & Wuhan if we had acted in December and it would have been like SARS in the early 2000s mostly contained in China with a few outbreaks in other cities around the world.

Being that is takes so long for the symptoms to surface it's pretty much impossible to have zeros deaths, but it certainly would been possible to organize a team to quarantine everyone coming from high risk zones back in March when we knew this was going to be devastating.

But more so, the pandemic response team would have been on top of this in late December giving us several months to put measures into place to isolate and trace everyone who began showing symptoms just as Vietnam did.

All it would have required is the ability to allow the experts to do their jobs and to get out of their way. Trump did the exact opposite.

in the US and the RW would ultra rebel against Clinton on every COVID-19 she made. They would go 10 times, 20 times more batshit crazy than they are now. Deaths would be far lower yes, but not 140 times less.

believe playing president would be such hard work. The very LAST thing he wants/is capable of doing is governing what used to be a great nation.

I predict more chaotic behavior in the coming months, there is nothing he won't do to tear the very fabric of this nation into a zillion pieces.

He is a sadist.

The looked for ways to make money off of "it" with their snake oil oil HCQ, their own
C-19 test kits instead of the perfectly good ones from the WHO, and they shipped 18
tons of PPE to China in Jan. & Feb. of 2020 because they owe China lots of $$$.

As racist dumbasses decided that Asian-Americans of all types were diseased, especially the ones who have never even been to China. But white is right even if they are returning to America from cruise ships or COVID-19 hot spots like Italy. No need to screen whites but double down on anti-Asian racism everywhere, avoid Chinese restaurants and markets, spew hate against "unvaccinated illegals" at the Southern border, etc.

It reminds me of the racist cops who are so concerned that black people are dangerous that they get completely surprised when they get killed by anti-government white criminals high on meth. And the racist TSA agents who need to thoroughly sexually assault brown people for safety reasons, but miss loaded handguns and combat knives carried by whites.

…..our economy, along the way.

At this rate, by the time Biden takes office in January, it will be too late to save us any time soon.

Democrats need to inject even more urgency into the situation so that Joe has some efficacy by the time he's in the WH.

Trump knew how grossly unpopular he is and was hoping that this was his chance to be the hero. But instead of being the actual hero, he turned into the biggest villain of all time and would rather watch America burn than do anything to save it. Now he will just quietly bow out and let the next president clean up the mess.

And however Biden does in his first few months in office will give the right wing hate machine endless fuel for the fire.
