You could spread infection a lot in 2 weeks.
In 7 minutes not so much.

(58,758 posts)People remember dramatic movies where the heroes/heroines come up with the new cure/vaccine just before everybody-or the one person they care about-dies.
Real life doesn't happen like that verey often. If Trump & Co start sending out miracle vaccines in Sept/Oct I know at least one voter that will be very, very skeptical.

(58,785 posts)could save many lives (I'm blanking out on what is is right now), is not being produced in the vastly larger quantities needed for Covid-19 patients. It's real, it works, and it's mostly not available because Trump and the Republican leaders who could force it are not using government funding and/or the War Powers Act to make it happen.

There is so much we could have done if we had a sane and functional presidency.

Can't do it this time though. Bankruptcy courts and lawsuits don't work against a virus.
