currently it takes 2 weeks to receive results. That is too slow.
You could spread infection a lot in 2 weeks.
In 7 minutes not so much.

People remember dramatic movies where the heroes/heroines come up with the new cure/vaccine just before everybody-or the one person they care about-dies.

Real life doesn't happen like that verey often. If Trump & Co start sending out miracle vaccines in Sept/Oct I know at least one voter that will be very, very skeptical.

could save many lives (I'm blanking out on what is is right now), is not being produced in the vastly larger quantities needed for Covid-19 patients. It's real, it works, and it's mostly not available because Trump and the Republican leaders who could force it are not using government funding and/or the War Powers Act to make it happen.

We still don't have a vaccine for AIDS - but we do have effective treatment.

There is so much we could have done if we had a sane and functional presidency.

He has never worked at anything and when things go wrong, he has had lawyers and others who would go out and fix the problem.

Can't do it this time though. Bankruptcy courts and lawsuits don't work against a virus.
