The character assassination of Dr. Fauci.

Make no mistake as to where we have seen this before. This is from the totalitarian playbook. This is what was endured by scientists and scholars in Nazi Germany and The Soviet Union. The only difference is that fortunately for Dr. Fauci he isn't being sent to a concentration camp or the Gulag. There should be little doubt that Trump and his henchman would like that option.

It's become obvious that they've planned this for weeks now, what with them excluding Dr. Fauci from task force meetings and him not being given access to brief trump for nearly two months.

More stupidity from a stupid administration. Most voters know trump is the cause of our bungled, national response, except for his cult following base of course.

The death of expertise, the whole anti-intellectual movement is being used by the Administration to cement their false perceptions and ideology on the American public.

If they're successful in smearing Dr. Fauci and his knowledge-based prescriptions, we will see the same assault used on Joe Biden and all Democrats who have the audacity to criticize or refute Trump's idiotic positions on the pandemic. And everything else.

We are at war.

Leading people--including children--to believe that there is no truth, no laws, that everything is simply black-and-white politics as usual, us vs. them, you're with me or against me.
