Wisconsin TV ad claiming Biden lied about his college years?

I've seen this ad a few times now in the Madison area and it claims Biden was lying about his ranking in his law school class and a few other things... I have yet to see one pro-Joe ad but I hope to soon. He's ahead in WI but we all know how polls go... where is all that Bloomberg money that was supposed to be helping take down the orange anus?

A video posted on Facebook by Brad Parscale includes an old clip of Joe Biden listing his academic accomplishments, followed by news reports refuting the claims.

The clip of Biden comes from a campaign stop he made in April 1987 in New Hampshire. C-SPAN published the footage, which shows Biden confronting a voter.

Biden misled on a variety of claims about his academic career, including his law school class rank and how many undergraduate degrees he had. He issued a statement in September 1987 after news reports corrected his record.

In his 2007 autobiography "Promises to Keep," Biden addressed his comments on the 1988 campaign trail. He said he lost his temper because he was getting sick with the flu, and "it sounded to me as if one of my own supporters doubted my intelligence."

"At a small campaign event in Claremont, N.H., I lost it. I shouldn’t have been there in the first place," Biden wrote. "I didn’t feel any better afterward; what I’d said was a quick and stupid rant that I wished I’d never said. Worse than that, without realizing it I’d exaggerated my academic record."

If this is the best they have we have nothing to worry about!

The group, which identifies itself as nonpartisan, "sponsors political activities advocating for policy changes and/or the election or defeat of candidates on the basis of their adherence to the Blueprint for the Restoration of America."

Blueprint for the Restoration of America
Mission: We exist to further the beautiful experiment of America, helping to hold the core of American culture together and advancing selfless public servants working to do the same.
Eternal truths: In God we trust; His truths we'll exalt. We acknowledge that all innocent life is supremely valuable, and that marriage is for one man and one woman for life and should be encouraged and protected.
Homeland: We push for the smallest possible, debt-free federal government supported by the smallest taxpayer burden possible.
Overseas: We must aggressively confront evil using force as the absolute last resort, lead our allies, and do so by maintaining significant worldwide military supremacy.

As of August 6, 2018, Restoration PAC had spent $5,356,227 during the 2018 election cycle in support of or in opposition to political candidates. Of that amount, $4,176,168 was spent in support of Republican candidates and the remaining $651,374 was spent in opposition to Democratic candidates. The candidate Restoration PAC had spent the most in support of was Kevin Nicholson (R), who unsucessfully ran for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. When he was campaigning he said he would keep all of his offices open even if he lost the nomination. He didn't. He closed his offices and fired the staffers who had been told they would have jobs until the end of the year no matter what. He is onto the next shiny object.

Bloomberg campaign transfers $18 million to DNC

Bloomberg and his cadre of advisers had considered creating an independent expenditure to make good on his promise, but eventually came to the conclusion, according to the memo, that the race against Trump is "too important to have many competing groups with good intentions but that are not coordinated and united in strategy and execution."

snip--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The dynamics of the race have also fundamentally changed, and it is critically important that we all do everything we can to support our eventual nominee and scale the Democratic Party's general election efforts," read the Bloomberg campaign memo. "We therefore believe the best thing we can all do over the next eight months is to help the group that matters most in this fight: The Democratic National Committee.

snip-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The staffers in the top six battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida and Arizona are a little more upset, a senior adviser tells CNN, because they anticipated being able to keep their jobs until November. And the salaries and benefits are considerably higher under Bloomberg than they will be at the DNC.

But a conversation in recent days with DNC officials and Bloomberg folks -- as well as with Biden advisers -- came to the resolution that they wanted staffers to have parity.

"The focus needs to be beating Trump and winning the White House," one senior Democrat familiar with the matter said. "Having some people being paid big Bloomberg salaries and others making DNC wages was not a good way to start this general election campaign."

No word yet on whether or when the fiery Democratic candidate/Independent senator from VT will transfer the remaining $16,200,000 in his war chest (from the $211,000,000+ he raised) to the DNC for its effort to defeat Trump.
