They chose to put him in power and keep him in power.

He is the unquestioned leader of the Republican Party. None of them have challenged him. There are occasional farts of dissent, but in the end they all fall in line. Like good Soviets, like the "good Germans".


Never leave that part out. There is no such thing as "Trumpism." That's just a word for the Republican Party that Movement Conservatives and Evangelicals have built.

The republican congress could have stopped the runaway train wreck cold during the senate trial, but did nothing. In a perfect world, every last one of them running for election on Nov 3rd, would lose decisively.
