Oops! I forgot my mask when I went to the truck stop to get something to eat!

So I bought a pack while in there! Some guy walks over to me and say “you don’t needs those, because I(he not me) am virus free”! I replied “So am I, but haven’t you heard all of those rumors about people don’t know if they have it or not”? He looked perplexed by what I said! Then I said saving someone else is what it all about! He walked away very quickly, uttering a smart remark that I won’t repeat!

4. I've got a friend who periodically sends me conspiracy theory YouTube videos

He sends them untitled so I don’t really know what it is till I open it, and they’re not always that kind of video. But he sent one today and I watched about a minute of it before closing it. I don’t get where he’s coming from. He’s been sheltering in place and doing all the stuff you should do. He’s undergoing treatment for cancer and is definitely in a group that should be extra careful. And I know he hates trump. I think he’s just real discouraged with the lockdown and maybe he’s trying to convince himself things are ok. We live in an area that’s not heavily impacted. I think there are those who have said it’s a hoax from the start, and I think there’s a significant group of people that are really tired of all the precautions and don’t know anyone personally that’s been infected and are hoping it’s over. I just told him to stay safe and keep his eyes on Florida and Texas.

I get discouraged sometimes but not ready to relax yet. The restrictions are a pain but it’s just not worth gambling my health.

5. I have been confronted several times now. I make cloth masks and keep at least a dozen extra in

my car, just in case. I have had to replenish them several times as I just give them away to those who ask, or seem lost without one. Several have said they could mot afford a mask. It’s the least I can do.
