(115,669 posts)lasts only until a hearing on Monday. It might have been nothing more than a scheduling problem. She can't talk about the book until then but the publisher is free to sell it.

(63,221 posts)Are there some tidbits that haven't been mentioned that are especially interesting? Just a small teaser. I have the book on order as well, but I am dying to hear the details! Most of all, I am dying to see him humiliated beyond belief.
I won't get my book until mid-August, but I can't wait until then.

(841 posts)His base certainly will not, and the media they watch will not say a word about it. I cant wait to read it myself, not that I think I will get a big surprise. We know he is a narcissistic A hole already. Someone like my cult cousin will never acknowledge a bit of it.

(18,486 posts)The only people reading the book are people who already know he's a disaster. The people who really need to read it never will.

(63,221 posts)once it is out there, certain truths will definitely make their way into the general media and public consciousness. They will deny everything she says, at first. But the weaker he gets, the more plausible her accusations will seem to them. Nobody wants to be on the side of a loser.
I don't believe that one big bombshell will do him in, however all this little chipping away at his image and ego, bit by bit, will do a lot more damage than you can imagine.
This is how people become disillusioned. Not by one huge revealation, but by the constant, slow, drip, drip, drip of doubt sowed in their minds about the person they worship. It's easy to deny something categorically, but when these little seeds are planted and then one sees evidence of the truth of them, little by little, it is hard to dismiss what is right in front of you.

(63,221 posts)I think it was actually more like 30 years, but only really gained momentum in the past 20. They were so threatened by her, yet I think she could have been one of the best presidents we could have ever had. Fucking up is not an option for her, and she never would have left us in this mess.
BTW, a little late, but welcome to DU!
