19. In my case a bra is painful because of scarring in my right breast

Where a horse bit and smashed the outer half of the breast. It doesn't matter if the bra fits correctly or is loose, after about an hour that breast is very sore and I have a hard time keeping a bra on. There are all sorts of hard nodules of calcification inside the breast from the scarring - my mammograms look like a picture of galaxies.

... I hate them. I have mild scoliosis that went undiagnosed until I was 45. 😳🙄😢. The pain has always been right under the main strap so I only put one on if absolutely necessary. I think she’s nuts for sleeping in one!

I am 74, and I never minded wearing a bra. Nevertheless, during Covid shutdown, I switched to more comfy bras. Still, the three times I've been out since mid March, I have worn a substantial bra, ( And a mask.)
