The first graphic I saw earlier this morning was the limited one - domestic details only. That was at 9:23am, Pacific time.

Confirmed cases US - 3,088,487
Deaths US - 133,530

Then, in the 10 o'clock hour, more details came thick 'n' fast. That would be the 1 o'clock hour on the east coast, when I suspect a lot of data comes flooding in. Watching those numbers tick upwards can be pretty unsettling, gotta tell ya.

Part of me is wishing the election would be held NOW. While the numbers are really shitty for trump and VERY encouraging for Biden.

I'd like to be able to sleep a little easier, for the first time in almost four years...

We can't afford 4 more years of this. It would be a hole from which we would *NEVER* recover from. Trump must be kicked to the curb in a grand fashion!

NO wiggle room.

NO room for spin or splitting hairs or pulling some "inside straight" or lose popular vote/still win Electoral College. NO.

NO!!!

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!

DECISIVE. And ABUNDANTLY CLEAR in its verdict. No room to waffle around or propose outlandish but-maybe's or "fake news" or conspiracy theories or ANY of that shit. NO close-enough-to-steal. NO. NO NO NO!!!

I want it to be such a massacre that even Pox Noise cries "UNCLE!" and gives up trying to pretzel-argue it into being something it's not.

I want it to be such a bloodbath that we get the Senate back - with room to spare - as well as the White House, AND as many possible statehouses and legislatures as possible. I want there to be such carnage that it will take the bad guys on that side of the aisle a generation or two to recover. We're gonna need awhile to fix everything they've broken.

Frustrating for me to watch as he did everything right, and the results were proving it, but then things went to hell.

He spoke at a Santa Monica Dems meeting several years ago, when we were still there, and he was Lt. Governor who everybody knew would be aiming higher after Jerry Brown retired. I got a photo with him afterwards! He's INCREDIBLY handsome. Even better-looking close up than on TV. And tons of charisma. You kinda get a catch in your throat...

But he's a good governor. Rachel Maddow was looking at the virus explosion at San Quentin and environs, and what a disaster it was (last night, I think it was, or the night before), but when she got a local county official on camera for an interview, that official was very upbeat about how the governor had responded swiftly and decisively, and a lot of the problems Rachel had listed before the interview had already been addressed, or solved. The local official was actually quite upbeat in her assessment.

You sure can't say that for any trump response - to ANY crisis!

He can’t make the residents be responsible. I also think Newsom did the right things.

My governor, Wolf, is more laid back but gets the job done.

My county’s case numbers were good today.
