(630 posts)One of Trump's failings is he expects loyalty but gives none.
I don't think he realizes that a lot of the scumbags around him feel the same way.
I'm sure the Federalist Society and those other like-minded yahoos probably consider him an idiot, and only liked him as long as they could get their judges in place.
Now that he's threatening to overturn the apple cart with his tantrums and kill of their rank-in-file, conservative leaders probably feel he has outlived his usefulness, and will not necessarily give him what he wants.

(115,279 posts)isn't the worst of them. I've said all along that Thomas and Alito are the real turds in that punchbowl, and even they aren't as bad as Rehnquist was. It is rather delightful, though, that neither Kavanaugh nor Gorsuch have been giving His Lardship what he wants, which I think he expected. He'll probably try to fire them now.
