I don't know whether it's a re-run on The View. It is sickening that the hosts tippy toe with deference and politeness with this one the same as they do when they have Lindsey GRAHAM or whatever #jackass on the show.
SCOTT said that he is torn up "for MY community" about Blacks being murdered on video by cops, oh was just FRUSTRATED and CONCERNED and talked to SHITLER twice after the most recent one.
**** It's "encore presentation from May 22."

(54,502 posts)Ever since he got into the Senate, the Republicans have been trotting him out as their big symbol to the black community so they could say, "see? we're not racists! We've got the blackest black in the whole Senate, and he's a right-wing Republican! We are unbiased, equal-opportunity right-wingers!"
And Scott has been playing along for as long as he's been in the Senate. He votes far right EVERY time, and keeps his job. I don't know how many South Carolina Republicans secretly gag at the thought, but even they know how convenient he is to them, so they keep their comments locked up and buried down a deep dark hole, where no one ever hears or reads them.
Considering his position, unless he is the most selfless man in South Carolina, I doubt he will be saying "fuck it" anytime soon. He'll just say (off the record), "how often does a black dude from South Carolina ever get a shot at THIS gig?" and just keep on keeping on. He'll just think, "what are my alternatives at this point?" and he'll be right as rain. Michael Steele has the "enlightened black Republican" gig on talk show TV all locked up. They won't be looking for two of them.
