Shithole Country?
Millions of Americans are out of work. We are in the midst of a pandemic, and the “pResident” is actively promoting conduct that causes it to spread.
For years, our children feared going to school because they might be gunned-down; now they’re afraid of catching a virus in the schoolroom that could be fatal.
While businesses are shuttered, many never to open again, this administration is giving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to their wealthy political cronies.
Peaceful protestors have been gassed and assaulted by our own military and police. As a result, many have been wounded; some have died.
People without health insurance are still being bankrupted by medical bills, and hard-working Americans are facing eviction from their rented premises, or the loss of their homes because they can’t make their mortgage payments.
Our allies no longer respect or trust us, and we are now barred from entering many of their countries.
Laws that protect our natural resources have been overturned, and corporate polluters have been given free rein to destroy our environment for the sake of bigger profits.
Those who hold the highest positions in our government are actively shutting down investigations into their own corruption, their own criminality, their own crimes against the country they swore to defend and protect.
Our Russian enemies are paying bounties to those who kill our troops, while they continue to attack our democracy by interfering in our elections.
And in the middle of all of this, the so-called “pResident” continues to race-bait, continues to devote his time to watching TV and tweeting covfefe between rounds of golf, and continues to deliberately look the other way while the country devolves into economic ruin and tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths.
So the question now is this: Is the United States of America now officially a shithole country?
