(68,775 posts)from Covid (Connecticut) but has life altering consequences, and my sister in law who lived with us this last 15 years (handicapped) fell and broke her leg which I feel guilty about even though I know intellectually it was not my fault. Now there are five known cases in her nursing home/rehab. One was next door. They watched TV together and were friends. So far she is negative but we won't know for two weeks if there are more cases or if she will get it...maybe longer.
My daughter in law is pregnant with our first grandchild and my son works in an auto plant that has multiple cases and move than 100 people on sick leave. Thus far he doesn't have it. He has a preexisting condition that puts him at great risk should he become ill. I am frightened for him. I have always hated uncertainty. I made my plans and marched forward. Now I can't see forward...and it is stressing me out. I can't see how this turns out for any of those I love.
