(22,097 posts)manufacturers, exporters/importers, etc. have all been suffering economically. To the point and on target. rump has been harping endlessly his 'higher' stock market numbers (a ridiculous and ludicrous claim that he somehow is responsible for goosing the numbers).
Of course the stock market numbers are essentially worthless in measuring the output of everyday main street 'Mom and Pop' businesses.
The only serious thing rump did was to give the top percentage of income earners 83% of a substantial tax cut benefits (thus increasing the federal deficit massively and not goosing the economy like other prior tax cuts done (the tax cut of 2017 was unneeded)).
Also, the republican led Senate is already shutting down calls for another stimulus, saying that everyday Americans don't need (we do, since so much of the stimulus already provided for the CV went to businesses).

(32,017 posts)North Carolina is not like that. North Carolina is principally urban and sophisticated with some of the best Universities in the country. Its not like Alabama and Mississippi. It doesnt think of itself as a rural farm state. It has farms, sure, but its more invested in banking to be honest. NC thinks of itself as an advanced and highly-educated New South power-state. This weak attempt to sway rural NC voters is ill-advised, imo. NC can be won, but not this way. I would fire the ad agency that produced this one.

(32,017 posts)Id still fire the ad agency that produced it. Every backward stereotype that non-Southerners have about the South is apparent in this ad. Trust me. Its a turn-off.
