The arrested the driver. He was sullen—and not impaired.

SEATTLE — One protester has died and another is in serious condition after being hit by a car that plowed into a crowd on I-5 near the Olive Way overpass.

A spokesperson for Harborview Medical Center confirmed that 24-year-old Summer Taylor died from their injuries.

The other victim, 32-year-old Diaz Love remains in serious condition in the ICU.

The crash happened at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday during a protest on I-5.

Most of the videos you see of a car getting mixed up with peaceful protestors involves the driver of the car starting to bleed and developing bruises and cuts.

And since those the videos you see, that must be what always happens. (Yeah, it's a cognitive bias. We don't want to see boring, but outrage-producing videos. Then we assume that the outrage-producing videos are a fair, unbiased sampling.)

I'd have probably turned around floored it.

Even "MAGAts" would be unlikely to want to hurt their car, get beat up, and then get arrested--with the inevitable twitmob out to destroy them and everybody in their lives who doesn't grovel sufficiently--just to make a point.

This guy drive drove around the vehicle blocking the highway at a pretty high rate of speed for whatever reason. A small group of people is shown trying to run away. If he was driving slower he presumably could have successfully driven away without hitting anyone.

It was in social media and i saw some videos and i wouldn't have been surprised if that guy did something violent.

a common complaint about protestors on RW radio from limbaugh and probably just about every other rw blowhard (OWS, anti war, ferguson, etc) is that the protestors (lazy trashy welfare babies) close streets and keep hardworking honest americans from getting to work.

in washington, Washington 5, Washington St. 1 broadcast sports on and endorse 6 limbaugh stations (87 universities endorsing 260 limbaugh stations). the national blowhards hate the blm protests and the seattle situation. the local wash blowhards at those stations and the callers to those shows would predictably give those seattle protestors a lot of hate and time.
