Let's be real. Is Trump trying to kill as many people as possible? No other way to look @ it.

Last edited Sat Jul 4, 2020, 09:34 AM - Edit history (2)

Despite a staggering rise in the the #s of cases of C-19 Trump has continued to hold
large public events where people do not socially distance themselves and the vast
majority do not wear masks.

He has held rallies in Tulsa, Phoenix Arizona, last night @ Mt. Rushmore, and tonight
a second 4th of July fireworks display in Washington D.C.. Trump knows what he is doing
and that is to get sick as many people as possible even though those people are his
supporters. I might be wrong but I don't think so.

Trump's depravity, racism, sexism, and criminal/con actions can't really be fathomed.

In Oct. of 2018 Trump came to Lebanon, OH and praised good old Gen. Robert E Lee and
that was no mistake because that area is the home base of the Klan in OH. You can see
a barn with the confederate battle flag painted on its roof right off of I-71 northbound just
past the Lebanon exit and many of the people who were arrested in Charlottesville, VA were
either from that area of OH or had connections to that area.

I might be wrong but I think Trump wants a race war and sees that as a way in which he can
keep power.

31. A psychopath or sociopath doesn't have a conscience.
Sat Jul 4, 2020, 09:55 AM
Jul 2020

So Trump disregards what's morally right or wrong and has another agenda.

This is the problem with having sociopaths in society. They don't live by moral standards. Under normal standards, Trump would premeditate murders and execute them, and then have the internal directive inside his mind telling him what what he did was wrong and that he caused suffering in his victims. As a person of conscience, he may or may not act on the dictates of his conscience, but whether or not has meaning when confronted with the law, the arrest, the trial, and the conviction.

A sociopath has a very different view. There is no moral context, and there is no meaning to committing an act that has moral repercussions, except for the benefit that the sociopath gets. It's what makes the justice system awkward for the sociopath. He can't really plead "guilty" for any crime because he doesn't feel guilt. This means that, if given another opportunity to kill for his own benefit, he'll just be a smarter murderer.

The research shows that sociopaths usually have above average intelligence or better. That you suspect that he's just stupid is a notion that Trump would love to propagate. He's down with any excuse that anyone would like to provide, because it gives him added degrees of freedom to do as much to people as possible to promote his interests.

You present a dichotomy that doesn't exist for Trump. He takes the deaths seriously- but as a pathway to his own well-being. He has nothing to do with the fact that taking a life has such profound implications for his victims or for society in general. That murder is a punishable crime is important to him only if he is on the receiving end of the punishment. Otherwise, 130,000 CV-19 deaths is just a number that he'll try to use to his advantage.

So, IMO, Trump IS a murderer, he knows exactly what he's doing, and he has no interest in the suffering he's causing. He's demanding his rallies under extremely risky conditions with the knowledge that people will die because of his rallies. Any denials of these facts necessarily means that he acknowledges the facts and THEN denies them, only because he doesn't want to pay for his actions.

Back in April Trump said the best way to deal with COVID-19 was to allow "herd immunity" to occur. Dr. Fauci warned Trump this policy would mean "many people would die." Apparently, Trump didn't take Fauci's advice, and many people are indeed dying.

44. Good Question
Sat Jul 4, 2020, 07:43 PM
Jul 2020

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the question. 1+1=2 or it may equal one (1) depending on how someone views the absolute value of one; I'll try to clear this up...

1+1=1 is an equation I came up with to help with my own understanding of the duality of humanity. The process for me started with 1+1=2; 1×1=1; A+B=C; and e=mc2. By the way, I enjoy math. So, how did I come up with 1+1=1? Well here ya go

Please note, I like to use people to help explain this and you'll see this as I go along. Oh, and please bare with me...

The answer to the equation is (1) and the following is how to determine the absolute value of one.

1×1=1...right? Right. (Note that the value is one)
1×5=5...right? Right. (Note that one has no value)
1+1=2...right? (Maybe...)

Now for the absolute value of 1:

C=(1)

(C)=a+b

This means that that (a) and (b) equals .5 or 1/2

So, a+b=c...right?

This also means a=(1 part) b=(1 part) an c=(the whole)

a+b=c or 1+1=1, see how this works?

Here's another way to look at it.

One spouse, plus another spouse, equals one marriage: a+b=c or 1+1=1

So, what happens when a child is incorporated into the equation? 1+1+1=1. That is, 1 spouse, plus 1 spouse, plus 1 child = 1 family. 2 kids? 1+1+1+1=1

So, let's look at the bigger picture. What happens when a family moves into a house that is among other families living in other houses? The value becomes (1) community.

Making sense yet?

Families become communities, communities become states, etc...

Now for an even bigger question that we all try to solve...

What about individuals? We make up the value of one (1) too, right? How does the equation play out for individuals? What is the 1+1=1 equation for that?

1 (body) + 1 (consciousness) = 1 (person/life)

So, what happens when we die? What happens when the consciousness is divided from the body? I have no idea because I haven't solved that equation yet, but I'll post it on DU if I figure it out. What I will say is the body is of the Earth and it requires the Sun to live. Maybe that means that the body is of the mother (Earth) and our father is the Sun. 1+1=1, or the Earth, plus the Sun, equals life. Maybe... I know we need both to survive and we're not doing a very good job of taking care of Mother.

Yet, the question of the consciousness remains. For me, I'll say that the final equation for me is 1+1=love. For everyone else, I say be a good human and see how the equation plays out.

Oh, I almost forgot...2+2=4.

Have a great day!

14. For YEARS The GOP has been trying to get access to the Soc.Security fund. They want to privatize it.
Sat Jul 4, 2020, 08:20 AM
Jul 2020

They want to get it into the stock market so they can manipulate it and bleed of trillions of dollars.

For years I have maintained the belief that if they fail to let the government keep its citizens healthy.
To reach retirement age and take the Social Security benefits THEY HAVE EARNED and are entitled to.

The GOP believes that each person that takes THEIR social security benefits is DEPLETING the money that they believe belongs to them to someday get access to and to privatize and move to the stock market.

It is just this simple IF YOU DIE before reaching SOCIAL SECURITY retirement age. It is more money in the pot for them to pilfer. Now we have yet another way to thin the number of folks that might someday collect Social Security. It's called COVID-19. The current death total as of today is 132,000 dead Americans (https://tinyurl.com/y8buvjq3) that won't collect SS.

Don't believe their bullshit that the SS fund is running out.

An easy solution RAISE the ceiling for the MAXIMUM TAXABLE INCOME.
Right now a new Congressman gets paid $174,000 he/she only pays SS taxes on $137,700 Do the math $174,000.00 minus $137,700.00 equals $36,300 dollar that they DON'T PAY SS taxes on.

If you earn $37,000 dollars a year you pay SS tax on every SINGLE DOLLAR.

RAISE the MAXIMUM TAXABLE INCOME to one million, 10 million, one billion whatever it takes to secure the SS system.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOP BULLSHIT. The SS fund could be fixed by simply raising MAXIMUM TAXABLE INCOME.

Maximum Taxable Earnings Each Year
Year Amount
2015 $118,500
2016 $118,500
2017 $127,200
2018 $128,400
2019 $132,900
2020 $137,700

39. CV-19 has put the lie to the watershed ideas of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.
Sat Jul 4, 2020, 10:17 AM
Jul 2020

Thatcher apparently believed that we really don't depend on one another in any society. Here's her quote: "And, you know, there's no such thing as society. There are individual men and women and there are families."

CV-19 has put an end to that kind of thinking. The pandemic shows that we MUST rely on one another for the benefit of all. Thatcher lived in a time when pandemics seemed a thing of the past. She DID know about the co-operative (and very democratic) efforts of society during wartime, but she somehow deleted those experiences from her knowledge base when acting as a politician. Reagan found support from Thatcher's anti-social philosophy and ranted about the failures of government and the glorification of individual achievement. The wealthy, the corporate world, and the inherently selfish loved the way that Reagan built upon the myth of rugged individuality. But it's all a myth. In reality, it only means that the zero-sum game that societal factions play yields a perverse income gap between the well-off and those who aren't. It means that the gains of the wealthy MEAN losses for everyone else.

A pandemic is a great equalizer. The virus is real, and it can kill anyone. It doesn't pay attention to wealth, it doesn't give the Trump family a pass. A pandemic clearly shows that we're all in this together, that society, and its government, is valuable for all of us and must work for all of us. Trump himself is living the Reagan myth to his own perceived advantage. He's 50 years behind the times. This is not the time for a zero-sum game. It's the time for a societal effort to save lives and prosper.
