5. Cotton is the most dangerous Senator

He is brilliant, ambitious, and has decided to run on an all fascist authoritarian platform. He is trying to get to the right of Trump. He wrote an open in the NYT calling on shooting looters saying they should give “no quarter” which he knows means take no prisoners (which would be giving them quarters) but instead kill them all. He knows that in war that is a war crime. He scares me the most.

16. Imo, McConnell, who's done terrible damage to our nation

and is seemingly prepared to do a lot more, including, as we know, destroying our democracy to maintain himself in power, and whomever else that means.

Looking at his behaviors, which knowledgeable observers believe are almost independent of ideology and solely concerned with gaining power for himself, he's probably a conscienceless sociopath. One of his colleagues said he has so little interest in most issues that he wouldn't be able to take part in a conversation. With his great power, he doesn't have to.

Upcoming runoff to run against him are Royce West, from Dallas area and long time state legislator (only endorsements are from former colleagues of his). And then there is MJ Hegar, a veteran. Cornyn wrote a campaign ad for her yesterday with his remarks.
Cornyn is absolute top of my list next to Turtle and Lindsey.
