(53,410 posts)Im always a bit wary of overblown patriotic symbolism because it can go so wrong. But I like what youve done here, perhaps because we truly need hope and the determination to rescue the country from slipping into the darkness of corruption and bring the death of idealism. Youve depicted our hope and our determination to protect and defend our national idea and the person who, above anyone else, we are choosing to lead us into our destiny as we see ourselves.
Joe Biden is who chance, or destiny, or karma, or whatever you want to call it, is the person who is going to lead us out of the near collapse of everything this country stands for in potentiality.
The feeling I get is that we are more, much more, than the forces that are trying to destroy us. Our determination, which will be evident in who we pick out to lead us, is to stand strong behind a leader who understands and promises the entirety of the task at hand and who will set us on the path thats required to do it.
My observation of your painting is on the emotional level because we are, right now, in that moment of choice that will determine our future. You have captured that moment quite successfully. By electing Joe our intentions are loud and clear and pure as to what we want our future to be. Thanks for depicting this so well. Its not easy to paint patriotism well but youve done it.
Peacetrain
(22,836 posts)has given him such a determined look.. even through the sunglasses.. that is the thing about Joe Biden.. we have this image of him locked in our heads about being the compassionate person, but if you meet him in person.. he can chill your blood with a certain look.. a good thing when you have to deal with the likes of Putin and others..

Well, be talking with ya and many others I hope in the very near future. Please stay healthy and safe. Vote Blue No Matter Who.

Blue Montana
(13 posts)Daines and Bullock are fighting it out right now for the seat with Bullock looking pretty damn good. If Bullock gets in we'll have Tester and Bullock to fight for our rights. Tester is a bull on Veterans rights and Bullock has a great political background as proven and tried Governor coupled with his professional education it's a win win. Montana needs to flip out of this biased stinking red hole that it's mired down in. One can hope and vote.

Well, have a nice day and again thank you for welcoming me so kindly as have all welcomed me well and kindly. Yours in the Blue Resistance.

(12,134 posts)Vice President Biden ditched a day of presiding over the Senate to "give the twin cannons some sun."
"This baby just needs a little scrub down," said Biden, addressing a tour group as he tucked the sweat-covered top into the belt loop of his cutoff jean shorts. "Gotta get her looking good so I can impress the chicks when I'm cruising down Pennsylvania [Avenue]."
White House aides said that Biden pulled into the driveway shortly before noon, the chorus of Night Ranger's (You Can Still) Rock In America blaring from his car's stereo. According to witnesses, Biden spent several minutes maneuvering the Trans Am into the perfect spot, and was observed drumming his fingers on the steering wheel until the song came to a close.
The shirtless 66-year-old then entered the executive residence and greeted employees with a round of high fives and a variety of nicknames.

A harmonious composition, with color and technical rendering that tie together in a quality representation of Joe Biden.
Professionally done, modern but with a traditional feel, I like it more each time I look at it, bravo!
