Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 18th season Friday, June 26 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 12:00 a.m., exclusively on HBO.

Virtual interview guests include former National Security Advisor under Trump and author of The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir, John Bolton; and co-host of the award-winning podcast "Pivot" and New York Times columnist Kara Swisher. This week will also feature a virtual panel with president of the Robin Hood Foundation and New York Times bestselling author of Five Days: The Fiery Reckoning of an American City, Wes Moore; and author, Tulane University professor and MSNBC political analyst, James Carville.

1. Thanks, was thinking I need to look up his guests this week.

Although I detest Bolton, I’m interested in how Maher reacts.

Carville is always good. Not sure I’m familiar with other two, but might learn something new.

2. I'm very interested in how Bill Maher reacts, too, especially compared to Stephen Colbert

I know he's spoken out against Bolton's failure to speak out when he should have, but I don't think anyone can top Stephen Colbert's tough interview.

If we lose in November, we deserve to be flogged.

At some point the doomsaying becomes tedious for the viewer and counterproductive.
