Soooo....Minneapolis police strongly advised me to

Delete my post about what happened to my nephew citing I was “inciting violence” in referencing his sexual orientation And they don’t consider this to be a hate crime. Thank you for all the comforting messages!

Have any interest about something posted that happened in Monticello? Why would they be investigating if it is a hate crime?

How did they connect your post to you IRL?

From what they told my nephew, they searched Molotov cocktail and Monticello and my du post came up....here’s the screen shot they sent my nephew, who is not a member of du or even knew what it was...they’re telling him my post on du, and posts by his sister and another by a friend on Facebook are “impeding there investigation”. If this dude was black, well you know it would be circulated with permission.

How would they know your screen name? Are they asking for the Facebook posts to be deleted too? So there is a police report about this event?
