Trump Brother Was in ICU Just Before Filing Suit Over Tell-All

https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-brother-robert-was-in-icu-just-before-filing-suit-over-niece-marys-tell-all?ref=home

Robert Trump, Donald’s younger brother, spent at least 10 days in an intensive care unit before being released this week and launching legal action to try and stop the publication of his niece’s explosive tell-all book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man, according to multiple people familiar with the situation.

Robert, 72, had been at Mount Sinai hospital’s neurosciences intensive care unit (NSICU) in New York since at least June 11th, being treated for a serious condition. He was discharged on Sunday and, despite his stay in the hospital, he wasted no time in filing and signing complicated legal documents aided by his celebrity attorney Charles Harder and releasing a statement.

"Her attempt to sensationalize and mischaracterize our family relationship after all of these years for her own financial gain is both a travesty and injustice to the memory of my late brother, Fred, and our beloved parents. I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my wonderful brother, the president, and feel that Mary’s actions are truly a disgrace,” Robert said in his statement to The New York Times roughly 48 hours after he was discharged from hospital.

On its website Mount Sinai boasts that its 16-bed NSICU specializes in “state of the art, compassionate care of patients who suffer from subarachnoid hemorrhage, acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hematomas, coma, tumors of the brain and spine, severe or prolonged seizures, neuro-infections, [and] spinal cord injury among others.

by whatever it was that had him in the neuro ICU to make such a statement or to initiate the lawsuit....wouldn't this be grounds for the attorney (whom the linked article identifies as also being a personal attorney for Donald Trump) to be punished for exerting undue influence? It seems like a serious breach of professional ethics.

ROFLMAO.......like sensationalization and mischaracterization for profit are utterly foreign to a Trump.

What did Trump do for his brother than prompted this action? Pay his hospital bill?

Pure speculation here.

Trump agreed to pay his nephew's medical bills as long as the family did not contest Fred Sr.'s will which excluded the family of Fred Jr.

When they were children, Donald asked Robert for some of his building blocks. Donald glued them together so Robert couldn't get his blocks back. So much for sharing . . . . .

Robert worked for the Trump Organization but wasn't given executive designation and duties like Donald's children. I believe that he's retired. He got married again last March.

While I'm under the impression that Donald and Robert aren't close, Robert doesn't stand up to his big brother and will more or less do whatever Donald wants him to do.

What remote legal claim does he think he has to prevent another family member from writing a book? I suspect the answer is, "None, this is just another typical Trump move which will be dismissed", but I was just curious if I was missing something.

(CNN) - "The Trump campaign has shelled out more than $2 million in two years to a law firm known for suing media companies...Harder LLP, the Trump campaign's highest-paid law firm in recent months, according to campaign finance data, is a boutique Beverly Hills firm led by Charles Harder that is best-known for sending letters to newsrooms alleging defamation and for a lawsuit that gutted the website Gawker."

Sure, Trump had nothing to do with his sick brother leaving his sick bed and filing a suit against Mary Trump.

We know about Joe’s family, he quotes his parents and kids (not to mention Dr. Jill!) often. President Obama’s parents and grandparents, his half siblings, even Michelle’s mother and brother were known. Hell, the whole Bush family was around. Billy freakin’ Carter!

The man has no sense of others. They are objects. I feel a bit for the brother, who’s been dragged into this shitshow and clearly has serious health issues that pique my interest, because genetics count, but he can’t stop that book.

Is 45 behind this? I’d bet my left tit.
