Mary tRump's book

Why does she have to tell it in a book?

If it’s THAT important - just tell it! Same with Bolton. This book shit has me pretty pissy about people who want to profit off misery and their selfish attitudes outta get their asses kicked!

1. Because she can tell the full story in her way

If she goes on interviews then she is limited to answering the interviewers' questions and doesn't get to tell the full story.
I don't begrudge her anything. It probably took a lot of courage to write the book.
Bolton is an entirely different story. He is trying to profit off public service.

To let her tell it her way.

Howard Stern?

I will not buy her book or even read it. Don’t have to because ot will all be leaked anyway or talked about and then word gets around

Just tell it.

I think we will get a perspective that we haven't heard from anyone before. This will be a true insider's look. What the Trump family was really like and what made him into the monster he is today.

So far, everyone has just related stories about the horrible things he has done and their opinions on his personality, but she can give us a unique viewpoint as a psychologist and a family member that nobody else can. I think it will be a fascinating read.

5. Don't you think it should change?

I am nearly 50 yrs old. Pretty sure I know how it’s done. The rant was about her profiting.

In addition, now tRump’s brother trying to get an injunction or similar ruling.

Bolton had opportunity to testify at impeachment hearings. Didn’t. Sells book. tRump still in office. Mary’s book won’t change anything either. But she will profit off the country’s continued misery.

They should both be ashamed. And have their asses kicked. IMO

9. Bolton's story, or testimony, could have changed the impeachment outcome, he should have come

forward and testified at the time. It was his obligation to do so as a government official. Mary Trump simply has an interesting personal account about her uncle and the Trump family's dysfunction. She has no government position, she is not under subpoena and is not part of any investigation. She will release her book, then do interviews to increase book sales. Her story will be made public soon enough.

having him in your family tree? Remember Mommy Dearest? Bolton is a different story. He’s just a coward.

Having to put up with that asshole for an uncle all her life who tried to screw her and her brother out of their inheritance and caused their family a world of hurt. She deserves it.

And from what I can tell of her character, she is not like the other Trumps, and is not just out for the money. She wants people to know who he is and she wants to warn the nation about the danger we are in with him as president. Why are you so hell bent against her?

7. I don't think it's comparable to Bolton.

Bolton withheld information that Trump was a threat to our Democracy. He refused to testify before Congress, knowing the consequences of not doing so. He should be in jail.

Mary Trump, if she wants to tell her story, needs to put out a book first. That's how she'll garner the attention required to share her knowledge on the fool in question.

I think of it like the daughter of a mob boss telling her story. Don't like it, don't read it, but I would not be surprised if she never shows up on your TV screen. She hasn't yet, nor have the others.

Not interested in defending anyone named tRump but in her defense she's been freely talking about the contents of her book.

Bolton had a professional duty and was cowardly in shirking it.

This is just some bonus insider information.

17. Bolton is completely different

Bolton had a chance to tell his story when it mattered at an impeachment hearing. But, he fought with the house Democrats so he wouldn't testify. Then, he claimed he would testify in the Senate if called, knowing the Senate is under Republican control and likely wouldn't call him. Bolton's book is about President Trump's malfeasance while the niece is writing about her uncle. One has national security implications, the other is about the character of the man.
I'd buy the niece's book but the book by the traitor would never receive my money. Everyone writes books for profit.
