They say their lives matter and get told "Well, actually..."
They kneel and they get told "That's not the way to do it."
They try to vote but have the power of that vote diluted by gerrymandering, the electoral college, and strategic (lack of) placement of voting booths.
They run for office but face conspiracy theorists and organized idiots who attack their very legitimacy rather than debating the ideas they put forth.
They have neighborhoods that are not THEIR neighborhoods, with police officers who are trained and equipped like they are preparing to fight in a war against an invading military rather than serving and protecting those neighborhoods.
They get murdered by "misunderstood 21-year-old boys who are also victims" but if they are in the wrong place, in the wrong time, then they get posthumously declared "thugs" and "no angels."
You might see it as "looting" and "destroying their own communities" but I think you also might be able to see it as "pushed up against a wall"
