on the statement Zuckerberg made yesterday

Here is the context I think what the OP is referring to, but I don't know for sue

"Mark Zuckerberg Says Social Media Giants Shouldn't Be In Position To Fact-Check Users
When asked about Twitter’s fact-checking of President Trump, Zuckerberg said Facebook shouldn’t be “the arbiter of truth.”

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his company’s policies differ from those of Twitter when it comes to fact-checking users.

For the first time, Twitter tagged two of President Donald Trump’s tweets on Tuesday with a fact-checking note indicating that his statements were misleading. Angered over the notes, Trump later accused Twitter of attempting to influence the upcoming 2020 presidential election.

During an interview with Fox News’ Dana Perino, Zuckerberg said he disagreed with Twitter’s policy and said he didn’t believe his own company, Facebook, should be “the arbiter of truth.”

“We have a different policy than Twitter on this,” Zuckerberg told Perino when asked about Twitter’s decision to fact-check Trump.

“I just believe strongly that Facebook shouldn’t be the arbiter of truth of everything that people say online,” he said. “I think in general, private companies probably shouldn’t be — especially these platform companies — shouldn’t be in the position of doing that.”

The Lou Dobbs show. Mark was on criticizing Twitter for fact checking Trump. That told me more than what I want to know about Mark.

This is not criticism of your posts. Thanks.

The Lincoln Project? Fox News showed the Ad.

Facebook and Twitter are relegating themselves to yellow Journalism, National Enquirer trash.

I prefer to post on boards that have syptandards.

"Facebook has slapped a warning label on the Lincoln Project's advertisement criticizing President Trump for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic after PolitiFact rated the ad by the George Conway–led Republican group "false."

The Lincoln Project's ad, "Mourning in America," is critical of the recently passed CARES Act that includes the Paycheck Protection Program, which provides loans to small businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.

PolitiFact faulted The Lincoln Project for singling out Trump for problems with the program when "virtually all congressional Democrats" also supported it. The legislation was approved by the House by a 419-6 vote. The Senate backed it in a 96-0 vote."

.......

The Lincoln Project responded on its Facebook page by alleging the president's "allies at Facebook" are censoring the ad, while making no mention of the original fact-check by PolitiFact.

"Donald Trump's allies at Facebook are censoring our 'Mourning in America' ad with a fact check," the group writes.

"They don't want American voters to see this ad," the group adds. "Pitch in now to fight back and make sure it airs in every single swing state possible."

I did not bother to read The Hill Article since it is now owned by a Republican bliionaire.

His lies are just as bad. I am surprised at Politicofact. The Ad was truthful.

The stuff about keeping up with friends and family, etc is just window dressing to get people to sign up and provide personal information that facebook then sells to advertising and marketing and firms.

To me, Zuckerberg seems to be somewhere on the autism scale. He shows no ability to understand emotions or to have empathy. Every time he's shown, he's got that robotic look to him. That is why he cannot understand the problems other people have with his platform.
